So I'm back with part two of my current beauty favourites, this time discussing the hair and body products that I have been loving for the past few months. Let's get stuck in, shall we...
Now hand cream is not the most interesting of topics to talk about, yet it is product that most of us use on a day to day basis. Whilst perusing the aisles of boots not so long ago, I stumbled across this and, needing a new hand cream, popped it into my basket. It does exactly what it says on the tin, moisturising without leaving a sticky residue on your hands. The mango scent is perfect for summer as well!
Soap & Glory are probably my favourite bath and body range, with this product being one of my favourites from the brand. The fresh citrus-y, lime scent leaves me feeling energised and woken up in the mornings, whilst the huge 500ml bottle lasts for ages. Definitely one to pick up next time if you love citrus scents as much as me.
For those with sensitive skin like me, Aveeno ticks all the right boxes. It is soothing and calming on the skin, without being irritable. It is quite thick and rich but absorbs quickly, so you don't have to wait around for too long for it to sink in. This is the perfect moisturiser for those with dry skin, and as it also contains oatmeal, is soooo good for you skin too!
After a recent trip to the hairdressers, in which my split ends were snipped away, I decided to try and keep them at bay, and protect my hair a bit more, as I use heat on it pretty often. Herbal Essences is a haircare brand that I trust, so I picked this up. It contains raspberry and silk, leaving my hair noticeably smoother and split end free. It has been a staple of mine in the shower, and I am sure it will continue to be so.
As my hair is naturally on the flat side, I try and add as much volume as possible in my haircare routine. I massage this mousse into the roots of my damp hair after washing, and then blow dry to give my hair volume and bounce in an instant. Unlike other mousses, this one doesn't go crispy or leave my hair looking oily after a few hours. My hair looks fuller and thicker after using this, and so will definitely stay in my hair routine.
I have tried a fair few hairsprays over the years, yet this is the only one I would repurchase. It is not sticky or crispy, yet holds curls for hours, even on freshly washed hair. A light spray over the hair is all you need to set your hair in place for the rest of the day. I am definitely going to continue using this over the next few months.
So that's all of my current beauty favourites of the past few months done and dusted. I can't to discover some more firm favourites in my collection!
Have you used any of these products? What did you think?
